Product Description

This apparatus is designed to determine surface burning characteristics of building materials and flame propagation rate of exposed surfaces such as walls and ceilings (including solid plastics), while simultaneously measuring smoke density.

Application

This test method applies to exposed surfaces including ceilings or walls, provided the materials or assemblies can support themselves or be supported during testing. The method determines burning behavior by observing flame spread along test specimens, with reports generated for flame spread and smoke density measurements.
